Pretty in Pink // San Fran destination wedding photographer

I am so excited to share with you the wedding of my dear friends Misty+Dave.  They wanted their big day to be a celebration so they decided to get married on the biggest party day of the year... New Years Eve!  Misty looked absolutely gorgeous dressed from head to toe in pink, and Dave was very dapper in a dark brown velvet suit jacket.  The couple live in Santa Cruz but Misty lived in San Francisco for a while and loves the city.  They were married at City Hall in San Fran and had their reception in Santa Cruz where they rang in the new year with their nearest and dearest.  

The ceremony was like a movie!  Misty's bridesmaid's {the very talented singer and song writer, Sara Bareilles} voice echoed though City Hall as Misty weaved her way through the crowds.  Her guests watched from the balcony as she made her way to her future husband.  They shed a few tears, exchanged their vows and sealed their commitment with a passionate kiss.  

The reception was beautiful as well!  Bliss in Bloom transformed their reception room into a warm inviting space with handmade wood table runners, adorable arrangements in DIY tin cans wrapped in lace and filled with garden roses and cotton buds.  My favorite moment of the night was when Misty's best friend Julie played her guitar and sang the couple a song.  Throughout the song friends popped up and played instruments like the tambourine and the spoons!  By the end of the song everyone was singing and laughing and dancing!  The whole day was a real life fairytale.  I'm so happy for my friends and wish them all the happiness in the world.
