I can't believe there's only a day left before 2013 is over! I wanted to do a year in review and highlight some of my favourite things that have happened this year, but I've been so busy. This year my business grew so quickly, I'm still trying to play catch up... in fact, I still have a shoot today! This year I traveled more for work than ever before... So instead of a blog about the year, my last post of 2013 will be of one of my favourite weddings abroad, Max+Alex's London wedding. Not only was it my first English wedding, but it was my first time to the UK! It was so fun to see the gents in the wedding party in their morning suits and the ladies attending wearing festive hats and fascinators... I felt it was only appropriate for me to wear one as well... I mean when in Rome! {I mean England} Max gave Alex his grandmother's wedding ring which reminded me of a another famous ring... in fact Alex reminded me of a blonde Kate Middleton! They had a traditional church wedding, but Alex shared a "first look" with her dad... it was so sweet. Max grew up in a beautiful house in London that had its own private park... how cool is that?! That is where the guests joined them for the reception. They played lawn games, drank champagne and ate canapés until being ushered into the beautiful marquee for the plated dinner service. After hilarious speeches and delicious desserts everyone danced the night away! After a fun send off to the bride and groom the die hard guests congregated in the garden on hay barrels smoking cigars and draining the last of the whiskey from the whiskey bar. Congrats Max for finding your princess and to Alex for marrying your prince charming!
