Karina+Damond // Maui wedding photographer

Five years ago a man named Damond saw a girl walking down the street who looked confused and lost... the girl's name was Karina, and she was.  It was her first day in Los Angeles and she had just flown in from Russia for a holiday.  She was only supposed to be there for a couple of weeks but after meeting Damond it was love at first sight and she never left!  They decided they didn't want a big wedding so they went to Maui and eloped at the beautiful Ritz Carlton, Kapalua.  It was a perfect day.  

Oh, before I end this post, one of the craziest things I've heard as a wedding photographer was about Karina's gorgeous dress.  She sent her friend in Russia her measurements and asked her to sew her a wedding dress.  Here's the crazy part, Karina never tried it on. The first time she put it on was when I arrived...! And it was satin... and it fit her like a glove!  

Clearly it was meant to be.
